There’s a lot of stress in our daily lives. And it makes us miserable, causes depression, and even diseases.

In order to remove stress, we’ll have to get rid of other things that go together with it.

Here’s what you can do to increase the level of stress in your life:

1. Make enough time.

Start by getting up early so that you can have enough time – some for yourself, some to do the daily chores, and most importantly – to get ready to go out without being in a hurry and forgetting stuff.

2. Have a place for everything.

When you take or use a thing in your home, develop the habit of putting it back there when you’re done.

That will save you so many worries in the future.

Also, this way you won’t get angry when you’re late for a meeting and can’t find your keys.

3. Remove toxic people from your life.

There are people around you that only complain, make you feel bad, are too negative and only give you problems.

You should spend much less time with them, as their company only brings you worry and stress.

4. Plan out your day in the morning.

Actually, it’s even better to do it the night before. But not everyone can focus then.

Make a to-do list and add every little thing you have to do today. You won’t forget anything important this way, and will always know what’s left to be done.

5. Get your 3 most important tasks for the day done.

From all the tasks we have to do each day, only a small part is actually important, can help us or other people, and gets us closer to our goals.

And 3 tasks are most important. Define them now.

Then, start working on the first one.

Your days will be more productive if you do that regularly. You’ll soon see actual improvement in key areas of your life. And isn’t that the whole point?

6. Know how to relax.

These days we don’t know how to rest.

Even when at home, we’re always checking something, are full of thoughts and plans.

Instead, know how to empty your mind. When it’s time for a rest, don’t be on the computer; don’t check emails or social media.

Take a break from all that.

It’s better to meditate, or listen to music, or read a nice book.

7. Let go of expectations.

We expect so much from ourselves, others and life in general, that we open ourselves up for disappointment, frustration and worries.

However, if you let things be and appreciate them for what they are, you’ll be more contented.

8. Accept what you can’t change.

There are things we can do nothing about.

You can’t prevent bad things from happening, can’t be responsible for other people’s behavior.

Also, what’s done is done. Move on quickly and try to do it right next time.

No need for having regrets or feeling bad about the past. You can’t change it.

Once you accept things like that, you’ll find peace in the chaos of the daily life.

That’s how stress can be gone in no time.

Simple tricks like these can work wonders if you make them a habit.
