We all fall short of being perfect. I feel that inspiration can be received by reading the Bible but once in a while we need motivation as well. I have had times in my life when I lost my way and I needed something that related to my individual circumstances. As a result I found my way back to the right path and got back to reading my scriptures where I ultimately needed to be. It was then that I was able to humble myself before God and find the peace I was searching for. It all started, however, with motivational materials.

Hi Kevin

I think the Bible is the greatest motivational book ever written. The principles taught by those who write motivational books, such as myself, can be often traced back to the Bible, and I know many people who first read motivational books and were then led to read the source of many of the thoughts expressed in those books - the Bible. That can only be good.
