The Eagle & The Power Of Persistence
Here are the contents of a couple of emails that I had sent to me today from my eldest daughter Sarah.
When one spends their life motivating others it is wonderful to be the recipient of the same from time to time…especially from your daughter….
First a poem….
The Eagle
He clasps the crag with crooked hands;
Close to the sun in lonely lands,
Ring’d with the azure world, he stands.
The wrinkled sea beneath him crawls;
He watches from his mountain walls,
And like a thunderbolt he falls.
—Alfred, Lord Tennyson
Second a powerful statement…
“Your persistence with a single desire is destined to mow down all opposition and bring you the opportunity you are seeking.” - Napoleon Hill
