‘I’m neither an optimist nor a pessimist, but a possibilist.’ Max Lerner
Anything’s possible if you believe it to be possible. All you need is an idea. And once you have the idea, the courage to initiate that idea, and the tenacity to stick with that idea until you see the seed of that idea shoot through the dirt surface of impossibility. Then comes the period where you will need to water and fertilize that idea until the day finally arrives when you get to harvest the fruit of that idea.
But amidst that whole process, you continue to live for the day that you can finally reap the rewards for your effort. You live for the possibility, because you are a possibilist.

For as long as I can remember, my little boy, who will be 21 this year, has always uttered two words from his lips whenever he greeted a new day or paused throughout the day to take in the view. And those famous words that have been firmly etched into the history of our family are ‘Nice Day!’
I wish, as I write this, that I could convey to you the tonality that he uses when these two powerful words leave his lipsĀ – but every time, we as a family hear these same two words repeated time and time again – even to this day – ‘Nice Day’, they bring a smile to our faces.
For what a wonderful gift of expression those two words are. They ooze with thankfulness, positivity, and a joy that embraces each new day as it is faced.
For every day approached in this manner can in fact be a nice day – N for New, I for Inviting, C for Challenging, and E for Exciting.

Every one of us has been given certain abilities. But in life, if we are to ever stand above the crowd, we must take those abilities and develop them if we’re ever going to make a significant contribution to the world in which we live.
I must admit that I have come across individuals more talented, more intelligent, more handsome, more connected, more capable, more financial, more able than myself who have failed to reach their full potential, because they have never fully developed or even used those abilities to benefit others.
And yet I have observed others who lack the charisma, the charm, the opportunity, and all the things that one would consider necessary to live an influential life, and yet they have soared. They have turned their limited abilities, in the eyes of others, into what I would call ‘poss-abilities’.
And what is required to take the ordinary and turn it into the extraordinary?
Here are just a few courageous qualities that I have identified in those who live lives filled with ‘poss-ability’.

An expansive life begins first in your mind. In order to live big, you first think big.
Every action in your life will be in direct response to the thoughts that are meditated upon in your mind on a daily basis. That is why it is vital that you spend a portion of each day feeding that voracious part of your being – namely your mind – with nutritious mind food.
So what food should you feed your mind? Well, all of us have different mind metabolisms, but I will share with you what I do, and maybe something of what I share with you may guide you to find the food that will lead you to living an expansive life.
I love books. I suppose that’s why I write them So here are a few books that I’ve read of late that may be of benefit to you.

The world is clearly divided between those who choose to see the best, and those who see the worst.
Napoleon Hill once wrote, ‘Every adversity, every failure, every heartache carries with it the seed of an equivalent or greater benefit.’ He was definitely an optimist.
An optimist calls a half-filled glass half full. A pessimist will declare it as half empty. An optimist sees a pile of bricks and envisages a castle, whereas a pessimist will only think of the hard work ahead. The mouth of an optimist is positive and uplifting. The tongue of a pessimist is negative and critical.
So where do you lie? On what side of the fence do you inhabit?
