Intelligent Beginnings

I am so thankful for my mistakes. They have allowed me to take from my ‘misses’ the lessons I have learnt in the process, so that I can reposition myself intelligently to try again.

Some people I have known throughout the years have allowed their mistakes to literally bury them. And when I write bury, I mean exactly that. They have entered an early grave. And then there are those who have given up while still breathing, and are now literally walking dead-men – who have allowed themselves to  be confined to a future that is defined by hopelessness.

But I have great news for you. Neither of these two scenarios need to be yours if you simply see that for every loss that you experience that there is a lesson to be gained.

Growing Young

Chronologically, with the passing of every second, our physical bodies grow older. But I have good news – no matter what is happening without, you can grow young within.

This will happen if you are:

1) Willing To Never Cease

2) Willing To Reach Beyond Your Current Capacity

3) Willing To Dream Big Dreams

4) Willing To Never Retire, But Rather Re-fire

So let’s take a closer look at these four areas that will keep you growing younger, no matter how old you are.

The Mystery Of Missing

From the time I was a small child I have read the scriptures, and yet I am amazed, as I continue to dig into this ancient treasure, that I am ever discovering new things.

Take tonight for example…

While Matthew 14 I stumbled across the numbers 5, 2, 5,000 and 12. This was signified by 5 loaves, 2 fish, 5,000 men plus women and children, and then when they were all fed there were 12 baskets of leftover fragments filled.

But then I read Matthew 15 and discovered the numbers 7, 3(few), 4,000 and 7. This represented 7 loaves, 3 fish, 4,000 men plus women and children, and then when they were all fed 7 full baskets of leftover fragments remained.

Now you might respond to this observation with, ‘So what?’
