It is in the place called obscurity that the maturing process does her greatest work. For it is from that place in the wilderness that you are translated from obstacle to influence, from challenge to championship, and from affliction to no restriction.
Many a great man or woman has been shaped and formed in the desert. For this is where the thirsty thrive and where the hungry dine.
Hardship shapes the desert dweller for leadership, and in the solitude is formed the foundations that will sustain them in the crowd.

No matter what you do, you will not be able to please everybody.
If you speak to an audience of one hundred people, it is said that three of the hundred will not like you. But do we get concerned about the three, or rather press on with the ninety seven?
The more influence that you have, be assured that a dartboard will become part of your everyday wear.
People who do nothing with their lives are rarely targeted. It is only those who truly make a difference who will find themselves in the firing line.
But it is at that very point that a true leader will rise up above any criticism and simply brush off the mosquito bites – no matter how hurtful they may be – pressing on with the fulfillment of the vision for their life.

And I suppose that it in some way reflects my own personal cry: ‘Where are the unique voices? Where are the unique sounds? Where are those who insist on themselves and who refuse to imitate others? Where are those who swim upstream? Where are the trendsetters? Where are the original thinkers? Where are the creative sparks? Where are the intrepid explorers of the unknown? Where are the one of a kinds?’

There is a flame that is lit within my heart every time that I consult with a great mind. It is often sparked by a book, a conversation, a speech, a movie, a song, a scene or even a sign.
And if I am ever ready to be lit up with inspiration, there is an immediate point of ignition from which creative thought, accompanied by corresponding action, is loosed – like rocket fuel. It causes an explosion, and I cannot but be inspired to be transformed into ‘the creator’.
But the fuel best foraged for such momentous events is a life filled with expectation to receive. That alone prepares the recipient for the flash.
