Blessed
I have just been reading Psalm 1 and as I read I was so encouraged by the promises God gives to the righteous.
- blessed
- like a tree planted by rivers of water
- bring forth its fruit in its season
- whose leaf shall not wither
- whatever he does shall prosper
Why? Because…
- he walks not in the counsel of the ungodly
- nor stands in the path of sinners
- nor sits in the seat of the scornful
- he delights in the law of God
- he meditates on his law day and night
Now that’s blessed! And anyone can have access to these blessings if they simply follow the Maker’s instructions – as listed.
